This month we celebrate Red Cactus' 4-year anniversary! What a lot has happened in just four years. We can now call ourselves the supplier of the leading telecom providers and resellers worldwide in CRM integrations. After four years, we thought it was time to expand our business further (see video below).
How it all started
At the time, we entered a market that seemed saturated in terms of vendors, but appearances can be deceiving. Many telecom companies were reluctant to sell CRM integrations because they had been disappointed in the past. Disappointed because of the lack of support and assistance, documentation that was not there or not very specific, complicated installation procedures, little (visible) development was in the software area, and a copy of the CRM database had to be made, outside of the application itself to create the link, which was difficult to explain to an end customer.
The secret
Of course, we solved all those issues for telecom providers and resellers. Among other things by being easily accessible and providing support, having the documentation in order and developing software that communicates in real time with a CRM application without storing data outside it. We could mention dozens of other things like simplicity of implementation, the edge in functionalities or all the other things we do differently, but the real secret as far as we are concerned is in the team of people you do it with; they define the DNA of the company and that is what partners appreciate. So we don't worry about competitors wanting to compete on price or copy us in other areas; the DNA of our company makes us unique.
Result partner channel
That this approach has worked is evidenced by the reach we have today. More than 1,500 direct and indirect partners worldwide are implementing Red Cactus integrations with their customers. The partner channel is very important to us, it is our only sales channel because we are convinced that it can only be a success if you are loyal to your partners. That means not competing with our partners by serving end customers ourselves, that means listening to feedback when developing our tools, but that also means helping our partners sell CRM integrations.
Future
When we look back at the past four years, what we have been able to achieve in such a short time thanks to and with our partners, it encourages us greatly for the coming years. We are convinced that we can make even more of an impact. Already this year we are planning some major releases that will help our partners make a difference.
