The new partner portal is live!

After the successful migration of our infrastructure earlier this year to Microsoft Azure, it's time for another major launch: the new partner portal! Did you miss the webinar on October 8th? No worries, we’ve summarized the key highlights for you here.

Legacy

Partners who have been working with us for some time know that we are not fans of legacy systems. Over the years, more and more features have been added, but this hasn’t always worked out well for navigation logic and performance. Instead of continuously piling on new features over the old ones, we choose a rigorous approach: we start from scratch and build a completely new portal. It could be better, so we’re making it better. This way, we always stay a step ahead in the market, benefiting our Red Cactus partners!

API-driven

For partners who want to integrate all processes into their own portals, there’s good news: our new portal is fully built on the same API endpoints that are also available to you. This means that every function you see in our portal has an API endpoint available. You can easily connect and integrate everything into your own systems!

Display and Navigation

What you can expect from the new partner portal are primarily smarter and better-organized processes. Take license activation for example: in the old portal, you had to jump from page to page to activate licenses, but in the new portal, you can manage everything from a single overview, from trial to paid license. Simple, quick, and super handy! We’ve also refreshed the look and user experience significantly. Where possible, we’ve added icons instead of text, making everything look sharper and clearer. And we haven’t even mentioned the huge performance boost! Oh, and don’t forget to try the new search bar—it’s sure to impress you!

New Features

We’ve added several new features. You can now toggle between day and night mode, exactly as you wish. We’ve also added a clear license dashboard, allowing you to see at a glance how many trials and paid licenses you have. The audit logs are now future-proof, and perhaps the most requested feature: a handy, generic button that always refers to the latest software version. No more hassle with clicking on specific versions; you can now effortlessly share the latest version with your customers!

Support for End Customers

We’ve significantly improved the tools for our partners to provide support to their customers! From now on, you can manage almost everything directly from the user overview. The real-time statuses have been expanded, and with the 'view profile' function, you can see at a glance which telephony platform and CRM the customer has activated. This enables you to provide support much faster and more targeted. You can now lock or unlock profiles and toggle the debug mode on or off with a single click, without needing to log into the software. Adding new users has also become a breeze thanks to the revamped and improved "clone profile" function!

Customer Admin

We understand that most partners are probably most excited about our new rights and roles system at the customer level. We’ve often heard the question of whether it’s possible to give the customer admin more rights to manage things themselves. Good news! With the new customer admin rights, you can now clone profiles, assign credits (licenses that you as partners have added) to users, manage software versions, create new users, lock or unlock profiles, and more!

Future Developments

The new partner portal and the revamped infrastructure provide the ideal foundation for our future developments. We can now handle even larger volumes without compromising on quality, and we have also laid a solid foundation for exciting new features that we are developing, such as the implementation of our support AI chatbot EVA in the portal (already known from knowledge base), the new configuration tool in the portal, and Bubble Cloud, which will be a flagship for future-proof data processing.
