Another great improvement in the partner portal! From now on, you have control over your automated emails when adding a new colleague, end user, and managing trial notifications.
New colleague or end user
It is now possible to automatically send a welcome email to a newly added colleague or when creating a new end user in the partner portal. This can be easily done by checking the 'send an email invite' box.
The new user will then receive an email at the provided email address notifying them that they have been added to the partner portal. From that moment, they can log in. By default, this is done via single sign-on (Microsoft, Google, or Apple). Additionally, it is also possible to log in using a password combined with 2FA authentication.
Notification for trials
Previously, everyone within the partner account automatically received an email when a customer's trial period (30 days / up to 5 users) was about to end – once 7 days in advance and again on the final day.
From now on, you’re in control! You decide who receives the notifications. Want everyone within the partner account to get an email, just like before? No problem—simply check the box for "Notify partner users". Prefer the email to go to a specific address? You can do that by entering the email address under "Partner Emails".
Additionally, you can decide whether or not the end user receives a notification by checking the "Notify trial users" box. In short, the choice is yours!
